Course Overview:
This course will encompass the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 (Amendment) Regulations 1999, the Regulations Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and provide basic knowledge and understanding of fire, fire evacuation and fire-fighting/
Course Objectives:
At the end of the session the delagates will be able to :-
- State the historical background of the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997
- State the duties and responsibilityies of the employers and employees under the current and new legislation.
- State the emergency fire evacuation procedures, taking into account the work activity involved
- Demonstrate the procedure of a fire risk assessment
- Demonstrate the use of fire extinguishers
