Course Overview:
This Course is designed as an introduction to Health and Safely in the work place. This course informs staff of their responsibilities to keeping everyone safe in the workplace, it also states the procedures and policies that they must follow in order to work safely.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course staff will be able to:-
- State the main requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Realise the need to comply with the Law
- Carry out a risk assessment exercise
- See the need for good supervision, instruction and training to help cut down on accidents at work
